Key Learning Outcomes

  • Attendees should gain a basic understanding of the concept of passive fire protection, fire resistance, lightweight construction and the different types and lightweight construction components and how they are required to be installed. 
  • Importantly you should also learn how to identify what the key routine service activities are that indicate lightweight construction is continues to perform, as required. 
  • The objective of this seminar is to increase broad knowledge and skills with regards to lightweight construction to inform those carrying out annual assessments.  This objective, should also increase the knowledge and skills of those undertaking design, installation and routine service of lightweight construction systems.
