Stephen Caple
Stephen
has spent the last 39 years in the Fire Industry in one role or another.
Starting
as a Sprinkler Fitter, he joined the NSWFB (now NSWFR) as a full time
firefighter for 5 years before returning to the construction industry as a
Project Manager. Stephen moved to Melbourne for 4 years running the Victorian
operation of Metropolitan Fire Systems (MFS) before returning to Sydney where
he continued to work as a Project Manager. Tyco acquired MFS in 1998 and in
2000 he took over the management of Firepipe, the Tyco Pipe Fabrication shop in
Sydney.
In
2005 he changed roles again to become the Sydney Drawing Office Manager for
Wormald and then in 2010 transferred to the Tyco Technical Services Group as
the Technical Manager for Fixed Systems. He continued in that role within the
Wormald business after Tyco divested Wormald in 2016.
Stephen
is currently a member of FPA Australia TAC/4/8/9
and
TAC/11/22, and also represents FPA Australia on the Australia Standards
committees for FP-011 & FP-004.
Greg Wilson
I have worked in the fire protection industry for 34 years. I was trained at WORMALD International in Sydney. I worked in the WORMALD Sprinkler & Special Hazards design group for 21 years. Those Special Hazards jobs particularly took me all over Australia. I was then employed by TYCO Fire Products for 9 years, where I looked after the ANZ sales for sprinkler/valves. I am now employed by RELIABLE as the Technical Manager for the Asia Pacific region. I am also involved in Product Development for RELIABLE & regularly travel to US regarding new products/standard changes etc.
Doug White
Doug White has spent 23 years in the fire protection industry. He has spent time across the industry from installation management to product supply and specification. Doug serves on the TAC 4/8/9 technical committee with FPA Australia.
Stefan Patterson
Stefan has been working for Victaulic as a Fire Protection Specialist in NSW for over 5 years and involved in the Fire Protection and Plumbing industries for 14 years.
Currently he engages with major stakeholders in the Fire protection industry for discussion of risk assessment and implementation of Mitigation practices/Quality assurance for Fire Sprinkler and Hydrant Systems.
As Victaulic celebrates it’s 100 year “Innoversary” they continue to work within the industry to ensure that these systems not only risk free and cost efficient, but most importantly are compliant.
