July -August 2019
Over the last 12 months, Fire Protection Association Australia (FPA Australia) has been very busy with many activities to improve conditions for the fire protection industry.
All of our business units have made significant progress, delivering tangible benefits and helping to improve the professionalism and profile of the sector.
As part of our engagement program, in late July and early August, we will be hosting a free Member Update.
Held in each capital city, the Update will give members an overview of the work their Association is doing on behalf of the fire protection industry, and cover important local developments for each state and territory.
We have invited external keynote speakers* to present at each event on issues of local importance, including:
NSW | Accreditation and Certification: A Certifier's View | David Blackett, Association of Accredited Certifiers |
ACT | AS 1851 in the ACT | Matt Shonk, ACT Fire and Rescue |
QLD | Queensland Licensing Reforms | TBC, Queensland Building and Construction Commission |
NT | The Role of NT Fire and Rescue Inspecting Buildings for Fire Safety Compliance | Simon Burt, Northern Territory Fire and Rescue |
