Challenging outdated opinions and practices within the construction industry, Peter uses his position as a founder and educator and to encourage change for the better within the passive fire niche.

As Technical Director of Plus Passive Fire he oversights, a team that provides a systemised approach to passive fire, developing solutions to technical challenges ensuring compliance standards are developed and maintained.His know how comes from 40+ years in the industry – working hands on, both as a carpenter and plasterer, both domestic and commercial builder, fire and acoustic technical rep, Executive Director of AWCI and as project management for major builders and interior companies.  

Peter is a member of the 2019 AWCI Technical committee and represent AWCI on the Ministerial Construction Council. QBCC Licenced as – Open Builder supervisor, Carpentry, Plastering, Passive Fire Protection – Walls & Ceilings and Penetrations & Joint seals.
