This event is complimentary to both FPA Australia members and non members.
You must register using the "Register" button below to attend this free event.
Why should you attend?
The New South Wales Government advised earlier this month that the restricted classes of accreditation for Fire Systems Design have been approved.
From April 2020, only persons accredited as competent fire safety practitioners (CFSPs) under FPA Australia’s Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme will be authorised to endorse plans and specifications of fire safety systems.
The restricted classes cover design work for the installation or modification of less complex fire protection systems. These new arrangements have been established to provide a suitable pathway for individuals who undertake this work to become competent fire safety practitioners and therefore allow them to endorse plans and specifications for restricted works as complying with the Building Code of Australia (BCA).
