Are you a registered Fire Systems Design (FSD) or Fire Safety Assessor (FSA) Practitioner operating in New South Wales?

Are you concerned about being compliant to the Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme (FPAS)?

FPA Australia will be conducting an information session to demystify assumptions about the purpose and intent of audits being undertaken in accordance with the New South Wales Government Requirements. The New South Wales Government requirements specify that FPA Australia will undertake compliance audits of 10% of registered Fire Safety Assessment (FSA) and Fire System Design (FSD) practitioners who operate in NSW.

In January 2021, FPA Australia commenced scheduled audits of accredited practitioners and this information session will provide the following information:

  • Why we audit – what’s the purpose?
  • How FPA Australia select practitioners for audit?
  • What FPA Australia are auditing?
  • What do FPA Australia do with the findings of the audit?
  • How do FPA Australia manage complaints?
  • How do I submit a complaint?
FPA Australia will be using internal expertise to review and assist in answering the questions.
