Questions to be answered..

How do we measure door gaps, to what level of accuracy and what options are available where door gaps are greater than the limits noted in AS 1905.1 – 2015?

What is a secondary latch and does it need to be fire tested?
Can the secondary latch be used as a primary latch?

Why do some door frames require to be backfilled and some not backfilled?
What is the impact on the insulation performance of the door-set?

Can you provide a brief explanation of the fire test failure criteria which determines the FRL of a fire rated doorset?

Keep the questions coming in and we will add them to the agenda!
