Installed fire protection systems and equipment must operate reliably to be effective against the risk of fire.

To ensure these systems continue to perform, it is preferable to have good baseline data, drawn from approved design and commissioning, in order to compare test results with the original performance.

Although you can still maintain or assess a system under AS1851 without baseline data, there are some instances where baseline data is required to be referenced to compare test results.

In this webinar, Glenn Talbot will discuss what baseline data consists of, its importance, the process for obtaining it, and how it may be able to re-established it if it cannot be found.

Attendees will hear about:

·         what the purpose of baseline data is;

·         why it is important;

·         how it is obtained and should be recorded;

·         how it should be used for routine service work or annual assessments; and

·         how to recreate baseline data when it cannot be found for a building.
